Have you seen “House” the TV series? You will either hate it or love it. To me, hating it would simply means you don’t agree the way Dr. House treat his patient and colleagues. Love it ‘cos there are just so much witty moments and sarcasms *LOL*.
It makes me wonder where did Dr. House get his medical degree ‘cos even simple medical coding training courses might have taught a medical doctor with better social or communication skills.
Ney, not to say that he is lousy in communication but he is just out of the ordinary, and probably that’s what makes him so out standing, isn’ it?

I think he is capable to communicate better but he chose not to. He doesn’t like to deal with petty, small matters (like asking the patient questions) & he has his team to do that for him. He doesn’t like doing his clinic duty because he thinks the patients are idiots.
Personally, I don’t think a doctor like House would exist in the real world (his methods are always unethical), but it seems acceptable in the TV show because he is a really brilliant doctor and (like it or not) has save many lives.
