The celebration of Lunar / Chinese New Year is almost coming to an end. We celebrate it for 15 days, that is the first 15 days of the first lunar month. This Sunday is the 15th day.
It is almost always true that during festive season, there are more road accident occurred. Probably more people are coming back from vacation, more are drink and drive or simply just being not careful on the road. Anyhow, every car owner should get an auto insurance, you can get cheap auto insurance online even. But please, don’t drink and drive!

Honestly speaking, I’m still not ready to come back to work, am still in the holiday mood for Chinese New Year, in fact it is not over yet till the 15th day of the Lunar Calender. Wish I could just sleep in and no need to sent the boys to school.
Wish I could go shopping again and browse those (seems to be) never ending sales for special promotional products and get myself something special or just simply something for the house.
But the reality is, I need to get back to work and I need to meet my daily target. Am looking forward to a long weekend since we have a holiday on this Friday, yippie!!

What!? The 4th posts in the same day! A bit crazy, am I? Well, I’m just excited about using the Internet connection here since I’ve just got it connected and I even got my wireless router up so that I can online anywhere in the house! Isn’t it great!
From the network space, I can see that there are some other wireless networks around. Now a days, wireless networking in the house is getting really common. Any eatery you go in, they’ll have a wi-fi sign on the doors! You can basically get connected anywhere in town now with your blackberry without using your own paid connection.
How I wish the charges are getting cheaper too. But it doesn’t seems so at the moment. Another thing that I hope for is high speed, with super fast downloading time, so that I can watch movie over the net, not like now.
Anyway, Internet connection is like the price of good face cream, the better it gets, the more expensive it is.

Yippie!!! I’ve got my “Slice” by Making Memories. Am loving it though there are some hiccups at first, but I love it now. I’m getting the hang of it and know how to operate it, am definitely going to buy more design card. I need all the basic design shapes design cards. One already costing RM185 over in Scrap-n-Crop! Gonna really save for it from now on.
This feel like when we wanted to get our baby jogger. We shop and shop for the right jogger and search through the town to get the one that we can afford. There wasn’t much of a choice at that time and it was way more expensive than whatever that is offering now. Just look at these Baby jogger city select. Aren’t is just cute and functional?
Okay, come back to my Slice, am really happy and no regret in getting it, going to make good use of it. Definitely!

We didn’t get a lot of “lions” coming to the house this year, only managed to catch two, which the boys welcome warmly and excitedly. We do get to see some lions dancing around the neighborhood when they have invited them over, still it seems less this year, probably all busy going to houses that have invited them instead of going around the neighborhood to get “ang pow”.
I’m not particularly keen in seeing them, not like during childhood time. Now they seems noisy and doesn’t make sense to me. Still, no harm in having them during the festive season.

Just watch Avatar yesterday.Yes, just yesterday when the film is already down for weeks!
I didn’t watch it ‘cos I thought I won’t like those blue-guys but it turns out to be a good film, though the story line seems familiar, even the concept of the flooding island also seems familiar. I’ve seen it somewhere in the cartoon movie from Japan. Though the blue-guy look is totally new and those slim figures, buoy, even more out of proportion than Barbie doll! Still, at the end of the movie, I don’t think they are ugly anymore.

One strong view that I get from the movie is about balance. Between human and nature. In believing that the universe has its own thoughts and all things will transform to other and return to its creator.
One funny idea is that, they all look so slim! And nicely built too! I saw that they are little children of Avatar there too… wonder how they get through their pregnancy and if they need to fade stretch marks *LOL*.
Anyway, it is a good show, and should be even better with 3D.

Uh, about cream again. I’ve seen this in the TV commercial, magazines and such, it has endorsed by celebrities and it seems to work to me, I’m talking about proactiv. Remember those bottles with light green and white with
When I first saw it in the TV commercial, I wanted to much to try it out. It was during those time that I had really bad acne problem. It feels up my jaws line and I basically feel embarrassed to go out. I was trying to hide them away with make-up but I know that it will make them worst.
Thank God for dermatologist! Now I don’t have that kind of severe problem. I do have some black-heads popping up once in awhile. But honestly I still haven’t try out Proactiv.

Yes, I’ve finally got my 3-steps facial care from my hair stylist, yes, my hair stylist, ‘cos she can get it from Brunei and the product is not available over in Sabah yet. I’ve been”cream-less” for more than a month and buoy am I so glad to get my night cream and facial foam again.
I can see those dead skin coming off my skin every morning after applying the night cream which has renewal agent. Hoping to have a clear and fairer skin soon. Hopefully it works as a wrinkle cream cream as I’m just too lazy to get another cream just for wrinkles. Uh, but probably I’ll need to get just one more – the eye cream!

We had a great time with Doris Lim from IEC teaching us on grooming! Yes, it was an enjoyable time and I’ve learnt so much about professional grooming. Just wish I’ve a big budget to make over my entire wardrobe! She taught us from the way we dress to the way we walk, and even told us what to place and not to place in our office. I definitely need to move around my office furniture. And surely there are lots of things need to go from my office.
She is told us some insight secret about money. For men (this is funny to me), their wallet is built is a way that is meant for sharing, ‘cos it is folded in half. For women who use those bulky wallet that let the money sits on one side and those cards on the others, it is meant all for the lady *LOL*. Oh, and don’t jammed up your wallet with other things such as receipt. You should just arrange your money nicely and put money only in the wallet with a few emergency cards and your identification card. The secret behind is, if you put too much junk in the wallet, it will suffocate the money and thus make no space for the money to come in. That is the first thing that I did, to clear my wallet! Hopefully this will bring more wealth in my life. *wink*
As for the main topic of grooming, well, professionally it is a bit boring ‘cos we are not even allow to wear flair skirt, slip-on sandals and too flowery blouse. Oh well, since I don’t have a big budget for the new wardrobe, I’ll just stick to my old clothes and change it slowly.

Yes, Chinese New Year is around the corner. This Saturday is the new year eve whereby family will gather together to have a round table dinner. Children will be extra happy to get their “Ang Pow” the next day on 1st Lunar day of the year. I am looking forward to the celebration, ‘cos I get one week off from work! Yay!
However, have I started with the decoration yet? Well, yes! I’ve got those flowers ready except the lantern, I’ve got those red packet ready except putting money inside and I’ve got our red shirts ready! *LOL*
Chinese new year is all about doing auspicious things and having auspicious food too! Anyway, to me, it is all about family and be happy with the approach of a new year. Some people specifically do certain things during the new year such as getting the lions to dance in the house compound.
I wonder those Des Moines homes for sale allow any lion dancing troupe…
Anyway, Gong Xi Fa Cai!!
